Dupa reunirea de pe Aeroportul Otopeni, Mani a mers impreuna cu ceilalti membri Vectra Racing in Brasov unde s-a facut un prim plan pentru lunile ce vor urma. Pentru aceasta performanta pilotul satmarean a fost felicitat si de Stephane Peterhansel (cel mai titrat pilot din Dakar - 6 victorii la clasa moto si 3 la clasa auto).&lt;div /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Cea de a doua etapa a Dakar-ului nu fost de loc usoara pentru Mani Gyenes care ca si alti piloti a cazut intr-o gropa aflata la 3 km de la startul probei speciale – groapa care nu era semnalizata pe road book.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Cel mai tanar membru al Vectra Racing Team si in acelasi timp cel mai bine clasat pilot roman in Dakar ( a terminat primul sau Dakar, cel din 2007, pe locul 9 la debutanti), a pornit in etapa Santa Rosa – Puerto Madryn al 95-lea dupa ce ieri in prima zi a raliului a pierdut foarte mult timp dandu-i roata sa spate lui David Casteu. In momentul cand s-a oprit sa isi ajute coechipierul se afla pe locul 14.&lt;br /&gt;Din pacate ziua de azi nu fost una cu ghinion pentru satmarean. La 3 km de la startul probei speciale a cazut intr-o gropa care nu era semnalizata pe road book. In aceelasi loc au mai cazut si alti piloti insa doar trei s-au accidentat mai grav neputand sa termine proba speciala. Printre acestia trei se numara si Mani care acuza dureri mari la unul din brate si la ora Romaniei 16:15 ora locala 12:15 astepta sa fie transportat cu avionul in bivouac-ul etapei de astazi unde urmeaza sa i se faca o series de radiografi pentru a vedea exact daca bratul este rupt sau nu.&lt;br /&gt;In decursul acestei nopti vom afla daca Mani va mai putea continua Dakar-ul sau nu.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mani Gyenes: “Sunt bine doar ma doare destul de tare mana si acum astept sa vad ce vor zice medici. Suntem trei piloti care s-au accidentat mai grav in acea gropa care nu a fost trecuta pe road book. Din pacate, insa, David Casteu, unul din coechipierii lui Mani din Vectra Racing Team si unul din favoritii la castigarea Dakar-ului, a facut pana dupa ce a intrat cu roata spate intr-o crevasa. Mani a fost primul membru al echipei care a ajuns la el si pentru ca David sa nu isi piarda sansele la castigarea raliului i-a dat roata sa. Astfel, David Casteu, ocupantul locului 2 in Dakar 2007 si castigator al Dakar Series Central Europe Rally, a pierdut doar o ora si la finalul zilei a fost clasat pe locul 69. Dupa ce i-a dat roata sa lui David Casteu, Mani a pierdut foarte mult timp si in final a terminat pe locul 95.&lt;br /&gt;Mani Gyenes: ”A fost o zi dificila pentru noi. Am ajuns langa David si cand am vazut ca are pana am incercat sa il ajut pentru ca sa nu piarda foarte mult timp in clasamentul general. Astazi a fost o zi foarte rapida, in care s-a rulat in general cu viteze de 150 – 170 km/h si mousse-ul nu a rezistat la temperatura care era la nivelul solului. Practic, lui David i-a cedat mousse-ul am facut schimb de roti si ulterior in roata lui am pus camera pe care o aveam de rezerva. Din pacate, nu m-a tinut mult si am facut pana. Am pierdut mult timp pentru ca ultimii 130 de km din proba speciala i-am parcurs pe pana. Aventura va incepe pentru pilotul satmarean, ca si pentru alti aproximativ 1000 de concurenti, pe 2 ianuarie in Buenos Aires.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In urma cu doi ani, cand avea doar 22 de ani, Mani Gyenes se pregatea pentru primul sau Dakar, era vorba de editia din 2007. A incheiat acel raliu pe locul noua la categoria debutanti si pe 46 in clasamentul general, iar dupa intoarcerea in Romania si-a fixat ca obiectiv revenirea in Africa pentru a-si imbunatati performanta. Din pacate, in 2008 raliul, care a imprumutat numele capitalei statului Senegal, a fost anulat din cauza amenintarilor teroriste si organizatorii au acceptat oferta venita din America de Sud, mutand cel mai dificil raliu din lume in Argentina si Chile.&lt;br /&gt;Astfel, cea de a doua participare a lui Mani in Dakar este inconjurata de multe necunoscute avand in vedere ca se va desfasura pe un teren diferit de cel din Africa de Nord-Vest, se va trece prin Patagonia, vor fi traversati de doua ori muntii Anzi si se va concura in desertul Atacama.&lt;br /&gt;Startul editiei din 2009 a raliului Dakar, care pentru prima data in istoria sa de peste 30 de ani paraseste Africa, este programat pe 2 ianuarie in Buenos Aires, urmand ca in prima proba speciala sa se porneasca pe 3 ianuarie tot din capitala Argentinei. Cele 542 de vehicule inscrise in raliu (235 motociclete, 29 quaduri, 194 automobile, 84 camioane) vor avea de parcurs pana pe 18 ianuarie 9.574 km, 5.652 km din acestia reprezinta numarul total al probelor speciale.&lt;br /&gt;Ca si in Raliul Faraonilor, cea mai dificila etapa din Campionatul Mondial de Rally-Raid, Mani Gyenes va concura pentru Vectra Racing Team, echipa care are sediul in Brasov si ai carei piloti sunt: David Casteu (locul 2 in Dakar 2007), Frans Verhoeven, Francisco Lopez, Marcel Butuza, Romeo Duicu, Phillipe Cottet.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mani Gyenes (numar de concurs 49, motocicleta KTM 690 Rally):&lt;br /&gt;“Ma bucur ca reusesc sa merg in aceasta editie a Dakar-ului pentru ca mutarea in America de Sud a dus la cresterea bugetului necesar si este foarte greu sa ajungi in cel mai dificil raliu al lumii. Dezamagirea suferita anul acesta, cand s-a hotarat anularea editiei 2008, inca exista mai ales ca acea decizie a dus ulterior la mutarea raliului pe un alt continent. Colegii din Vectra Racing, David Casteu si Frans Verhoeven care au mai multa experienta in rally-raid avand in vedere ca pana in urma cu cateva luni au fost piloti de uzina KTM, ne-au ajutat sa ne pregatim pentru noile suprafete de rulare. Dar pana nu vom ajunge in Argentina este foarte greu sa dai un pronostic asupra locului pe care vei termina. Raliul si-a pastrat reputati de cel mai dificil din lume si ma astept sa fie o editie mult mai grea decat cea din Africa din 2007. Dar dupa ce la al doilea punct de control orar am trecut de Pzygonski si Graziani, mi-am dat seama ca se poate. In ultimii 100 de km am incercat sa tin pasul cu David si Frans care erau in fata. Datorita clasarii pe locul 5 in etapa a 2-a si-a adjudecat cea mai buna performanta romaneasca intr-o proba speciala a raliului din Egipt.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mani Gyenes alaturi de coechipierii din Vectra Racing Team a reusit sa aduca prima echipa romaneasca in atentia rally-raidului mondial. Pilotul satmarean a terminat ziua pe locul 5 si ocupa, dupa doua etape, locul 8 in clasamentul general, in timp ce colegii sai de echipa sunt in top 20; doi dintre ei Frans Verhoeven si David Casteu luptandu-se pentru victorie.&lt;br /&gt;Cea de a treia zi a editiei cu nr. 11 din Raliul Faraonilor ii duce pe concurenti in zona Sitra, apropiindu-se de oaza Siwa aflata nu departe de granita cu Libia.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mani Gyenes: (Vectra Racing Team #50):&lt;br /&gt;“Nu a fost o zi usoara astazi si ma bucur ca am reusit sa avem toti rezultate bune. Datorita acestui timp, pilotul satmarean ocupa locul 10 in clasamentul general, chiar daca acest raliu este doar un antrenament pentru editia 2009 a Dakar-ului.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mani Gyenes (Vectra Racing Team #50):&lt;br /&gt;“Am pornit al 46-lea in prima proba speciala pentru ca s-a dat startul in ordinea numerelor de concurs, insa am reusit sa recuperez destul de repede. Ma bucur ca nu am avut probleme cu navigatia si cu temperatura foarte ridicata la care am fost nevoiti sa concuram astazi (peste 40 de grade). Anularea acesteia a dus la participarea pilotului satmarean in Dakar Series Central Europe Rally, competitie pe care a terminat-o pe locul 2 la clasa 450 cmc, si la inceperea antrenamentelor pentru Dakar 2009. Din acest program face parte si Raliul Faraonilor, prima etapa din Campionatul Mondial de Rally Raid la care Mani Gyenes va lua startul.Si pentru ca in ianuarie va concura in Dakar alaturi de Vectra Racing Team, iar Raliul Faraonilor reprezinta o repetitie generala in ceea ce priveste organizarea si structura echipei care va merge in cel mai dificil rally-raid din lume, Mani ii are coechipieri pe: David Casteu, Frans Verhoeven, Marcel Butuza, Alex Garbacea, Dan Tatoiu, Ludovic Boinnard.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mani Gyenes: Ma bucur ca am sansa sa concurez, atat in Raliul Faraonilor cat si in Dakar, alaturi de Vectra Racing Team, mai ales ca este o onoare sa ai coechipieri precum sunt David Casteu si Frans Verheuven, ambii fiind, pana in urma cu cateva luni, piloti oficiali KTM. Voi avea multe de invatat de la cei doi si de la Marcel Butuza pentru ca eu maine voi face primii kilometri pe un KTM 690 Rally. Practic din acest motiv am si venit in Egipt, pentru a ma obisnui cu motocicleta - pe acest model vom concura si in Dakar.Pentru editia 2008 am pregatit o motocicleta de rally-raid pe baza modelui KTM 450 si aceasta era mult mai usoara, de aceea acum am nevoie de cat mai multi kilometri pentru a ma obisnui cu o motocicleta mai grea. Este prima mea etapa in Campionatul Mondial de Rally Raid si am ceva emotii, pentru ca nu am mai concurat pe nisip cu o motocicleta de rally-raid din ianuarie 2007, cand am terminat Dakarul.Din pacate, venirea in Egipt pentru Raliul Faraonilor inseamna pierderea titlului de campion national la endurocross, avand in vedere ca nu voi putea concura in ultima etapa. accidentare, Mani Gyenes a terminat&lt;br /&gt;ziua cu cel de al 7-lea timp.&lt;br /&gt;Cea de a treia zi, in care concurentii au trebuit sa parcurga trasee&lt;br /&gt;creionate prin munti, i-a dus pe concurenti la peste 2000 de metri&lt;br /&gt;altitudine in golul alpin din zona muntilor Lotrioara. Ca si in zilele&lt;br /&gt;precedente cel mai mare inamic al riderilor a fost vremea, in aceasta&lt;br /&gt;dimineata concurand peste o ora prin ceata.&lt;br /&gt;Ziua a insemnat pentru clasa Profi, cea care are cea mai dificila ruta,&lt;br /&gt;123 km pe un traseu care nu a mai fost atat de periculos ca cel de ieri.&lt;br /&gt;Dar care in anumite zone a fost mult mai dificil multi din concurenti fiind&lt;br /&gt;siliti sa dea drumul motocicletelor pentru ca aveau de trecut peste&lt;br /&gt;coborari mult prea abrupte.&lt;br /&gt;Pentru Mani, cel mai de succes pilot roman la Romaniacs – doua victorii&lt;br /&gt;la clasa Experti – ziua a fost una care se poate rezuma cu un excelent&lt;br /&gt;loc sapte.&lt;br /&gt;Mani Gyenes (ziua 3, pozitia 7, clasa Profi):&lt;br /&gt;“Imi este foarte greu sa merg in aceasta competitie pentru ca toti s-au&lt;br /&gt;obisnuit sa ma vada foarte in fata, insa trebuie sa merg cat mai prudent&lt;br /&gt;posibil pentru ca traseul este atat de greu incat aproape la fiecare&lt;br /&gt;urcare sau coborare poti sa te accidentezi.&lt;br /&gt;Am avut astazi o zona de aproape 8 km in care nu am facut altceva&lt;br /&gt;decat sa urcam o serie de rampe foarte inclinate si a fost foarte&lt;br /&gt;obositor, insa am reusit sa am in cele din urma un ritm bun. float: right; cursor: pointer;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_YPaDxiBwlmI/SM895YgLUyI/AAAAAAAAACs/zotRySMu65w/s320/Mani+Gyenes+-action+Romaniacs.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5246480146949165858" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dupa doua zile de hard-enduro, pe un traseu ingreunat, mai ales ieri (luni&lt;br /&gt;15.09.2008), de ploaie, Mani Gyenes isi pastreaza statutul de cel mai bun pilot&lt;br /&gt;roman din competitie fiind clasat in primii 20 de rideri - clasa “Profi”.&lt;br /&gt;Cea de a doua zi petrecuta, de cei 200 de piloti de la cea de a cincea editie a Red&lt;br /&gt;Bull Romaniacs, in Carpati a fost una in care s-a concurat sub avertizarea de cod&lt;br /&gt;galben venita din partea Administratiei Nationale de Meteorologie. Codul galben&lt;br /&gt;s-ar putea prelungi si astazi pentru judetul Sibiu, iar pilotii clasei Profi, cei care&lt;br /&gt;au cel mai dificil traseu din competitie, vor fi nevoiti sa parcurga o ruta de peste&lt;br /&gt;100 de kilometri.&lt;br /&gt;Pe langa ploaia care va ingreuna traseul de astazi (16.09.2008), concurentii se&lt;br /&gt;pot astepta si la ninsoare, avand in vedere ca cei de la clasa “Profi” vor ajunge&lt;br /&gt;pana la 2200 m altitudine in zona Muntilor Lotrioara.&lt;br /&gt;Mani Gyenes (locul 17 dupa primele 2 zile):&lt;br /&gt;“In prima zi de off-road a fost greu sa parcurgem traseul, dar nu din cauza&lt;br /&gt;dificultatii, ci pentru ca am pierdut foarte mult timp la urcari unde se&lt;br /&gt;intersectau traseele de “Profi”, “Experti” si uneori chiar si “Hobby”. Practic,&lt;br /&gt;erau urcari pe unde putea trece o singura motocicleta si trebuia sa stai la coada&lt;br /&gt;si sa astepti sa treaca cei care au ajuns in acel punct inaintea ta. Cei de la&lt;br /&gt;celelalte categorii, avand un traseu mai scurt si mai usor, au ajuns mai repede si&lt;br /&gt;mai mult de jumatate din concurentii de la clasa “Profi” au pierdut foarte mult&lt;br /&gt;timp in aceaste zone. A exista ulterior, pe traseu, o blocare a rutei din cauza&lt;br /&gt;unei porti inchise care era chiar pe ruta si au fost piloti care au pierdut si&lt;br /&gt;jumatate de ora incercand sa treaca.&lt;br /&gt;Luni, traseul a fost ingreunat de frig si ploaie si in prima parte a zilei am&lt;br /&gt;concurat prin ceata, de care se pare ca nu vom scapa nici astazi. E dificil. Sunt&lt;br /&gt;portiuni unde dupa ce au trecut cateva motociclete, traseul isi mareste&lt;br /&gt;dificultatea devenind mult mai periculos. Am avut o coborare de peste 300 de&lt;br /&gt;metri extrem de abrupta si cu multa piatra, unde deja dupa 15 piloti a devenit&lt;br /&gt;extrem de greu si sa cobori pe langa motocicleta.&lt;br /&gt;Dupa doua zile, pot spune ca intr-adevar aceasta este cea mai dura editie a Red&lt;br /&gt;Bull Romaniacs. Sper sa ajung cu bine la finisul de maine. In 2008 este pentru a patra oara cand “Prologul” se desfasoara in centrul Sibiului, singura exceptie fiind in 2006, cand a fost gazduit de Bucuresti. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mani Gyenes va fi pentru a doua oara in postura de a parcurge cel mai dur traseu din “Prolog”, dupa ce anul trecut a debutat la clasa “Profi” avand doua victorii la clasa “Experti”.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mani Gyenes: “Prologul, nu este mai greu comparativ cu traseul de anul trecut, insa organizatorii au avut grija sa il faca mult mai spectaculos. Cei doi vor parcurge de-a lungul celor sase zile ale Romanian Extreme Adventure un traseu de 1680 km, creionat in cea mai mare parte in Masivul Penteleu, urmand ca sambata 5 iulie sa participe la o etapa de trial organizata aproape de orasul Buzau.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Startul in Romanian Extreme Adventure se va da din Piata Dacia – Buzau, duminica 29 iunie la ora 09:30, urmand ca la finalul primei zile concurentii sa ajunga in bivouac-ul amenajat langa Lacul Mocearu. Dupa probele de extreme din Carpatii de Curbura, pilotii vor reveni in Buzau vineri, 4 iulie, iar finisul va fi consemnat pe 5 iulie dupa terminarea probei de trial.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;      &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="IT"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Mani Gyenes&lt;/span&gt;: “Am decis sa concuram la Buzau pentru ca anul trecut &lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;am participat aici in Musaios Extreme Adventure si am avut parte de o competitie buna, care mi-a permis sa ma antrenez pentru International Six Days Enduro. Editia 2005 reprezinta cea mai recenta experienta a lui Marco Tempestini in ceea ce priveste Dakar-ul, in timp ce pentru Mani Gyenes raliul din 2007 s-a materializat cu locul 9 la categoria debutanti. La jumatatea zilei, dupa prima proba speciala recuperase deja 5 pozitii aflandu-se pe locul 29, iar in finalul celei de a cincea etape a fost clasat al 24-lea in clasamentul general, pe 6 la clasa 450 cmc si pe 3 la 450 cmc Maraton. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="IT"&gt;Maine, in cea de a 6-a zi a raliului se va concura pe aceleasi speciale ca si astazi. In prima parte a zilei se va merge in cea mai lunga speciala care masoara 157 km, urmand ca imediat dupa pranz sa se mai concureze in cea de 54 km. Am mers dupa road book, insa cand am ajuns in parcul de asistenta mi s-a  spus ca am ratat un waypoint, iar ulterior am aflat ca sunt inca 37 de piloti de  la categoria moto care au aceeasi problema. La acest raliu ca sa poti lua  waypoint-urile trebuie sa te apropii de ele la o distanta de maxim 90 de metri,  iar waypoint-ul de ieri era intr-o bucla care te scotea practic de pe trasa  uramand sa revi dupa ce ai luat acel punct. Ieri in anumite locuri au fost benzi  pe traseu si oameni care iti indicau ruta la fel ca la etapele de enduro,  inclusiv in locatia acestui punct sincer nu inteleg cum am putut atat de multi  sa nu luam acel waypoint. Prima etapa de astazi a fost ok, insa traseul de aici  are foarte multa piatra si este destul de greu sa iti menti un ritm de la  inceputul pana la sfarsitul probei. Acum pornim in cea de a doua proba care este  mai scurta dar mai tehnica si cu mai multe capacane in ceea ce priveste  navigatia. A doua speciala a fost practic o cursa de enduro  pentru ca traseul  era marcat cu banda si erau oamenii care iti indicau ruta insa solul acesta  pietros nu este pe placul meu. Imi pare rau ca Razvan (Irimescu, locul 2 la Quad  dupa 3 etape) a abandonat in urma unui incident de pe prima proba  de azi.  A mers foarte bine in ziele anterioare si avea sanse sa castige categoria Quad.  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="IT"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="IT"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="IT"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="IT"&gt;In cea de a doua zi a Central Europe Rally s-a ajuns in Maramures concurentii avand de parcurs doua probe speciale nu departe de Baia Mare. Prima proba a insumat 76 km, insa cea de a doua a fost redusa de la 76 la 40 de km din cauza blocarii de catre un camion care nu a mai putut continua. Categoria moto a fost marcata astazi de retragera liderului Marc Coma in urma unei accidentari la genunchiul drept.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="IT"&gt;Pentru cel mai bine clasat pilot roman in raliul Dakar, prima etapa desfasurata in Romania nu a debutat cu dreptul. Dupa o proba speciala de 63 de km, pe care au fost foarte multe saritori si un sol nisipos asemanator cu cel de pe primele doua probe speciale ale Dakar-ului 2007, Mani Gyenes a reusit sa se claseze pe locul 4 la categoria 450 cmc. Pilotul satmarean a terminat ziua pe locul 14 in clasamentul general fiind la doar 5 minute de liderul Marc Coma.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;    &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="IT"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="IT"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Mani Gyenes&lt;/span&gt;: “A fost o prima proba foarte interesant mi-a placut foarte mult, avand in vedere ca toate aceste saritori sunt mai usor de abordat cu KTM-ul 450 Meca System. Maine vom concura in Romania in apropiere de Baia Mare si schimbam solul acesta nisipos cu muntele pe o portiune din traseu urmand din cate am inteles sa intalnim si zapada pe marginea drumului. Va concura cu motocicleta KTM 450 Meca System pregatita initial pentru Dakar 2008, dar adaptata conditiilor impuse de rally-raidul care se desfasoara in Ungaria si Romania. Astfel, s-a renuntat la cele doua rezervoare spate, probele de la Central Europe Rally ne impunand o autonomie de 250 de km cum este cazul la Dakar, si s-a modificat sistemul de evacuare.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ca si in cazul Dakar-ului, Mani Gyenes va concura in cadrul echipei multinationale Mol Dakar Team si are ca obiectiv o clasare in primii 30 de concurenti in clasamentul general al raliului.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="IT"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Mani Gyenes&lt;/span&gt;: “Datorita participarii celor mai buni piloti de raly-raid din lume, Central Europe Rally este cea mai importanta competitie din prima jumatate a acestui an si imi doresc foarte mult sa am o evolutie buna. Avand in vedere ca este pentru prima data cand se organizeaza este destul de greu sa iti fixezi un obiectiv, insa sper sa termin raliul in primii 30. Pe 19 aprilie voi merge la verificarile tehnice din Budapesta urmand ca pe 20 aprilie in jurul orei 09:00 (ora Ungariei) sa iau startul in prima etapa Budapesta – Baia Mare. Pe 21 si 22 aprilie vom concura in apropiere de Baia Mare si sper sa avem parte de cat mai multi sustinatori avand in vedere ca probele speciale nu sunt departe de orasul meu natal, Satu Mare. Vizitatorii, primei expozitii dedicate raliurilor, vor avea prilejul sa vada KTM-ul 450 Meca System in saua caruia pilotul satmarean va parcurge cei aproximativ 3.000 de kilometri ai raliului. Aceasta decizie vine pe fondul anluarii editiei 2008, dupa ce in decembrie 2007 au fost omorati patru turisti francezi in Mauritania si s-au primit amenintari teroriste la adresa raliului. In cei 30 de ani petrecuti in Africa, raliul a traversat 21 de state si a avut la start concurenti din 52 de tari.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Debutul Dakar-ului in America de Sud va avea loc pe 3 ianuarie 2009, cand se va da startul din Buenos Aires, urmand sa se concureze pe o distanta totala de aproximativ 9.000 de kilometri. Probele speciale ale editiei de anul viitor vor masura in jur de 6.000 de kilometri.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Untitled;" lang="IT"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Mani Gyenes:&lt;/span&gt; “Este greu sa te gandesti la Dakar si sa nu iti faci probleme legate de sutele de kilometri pe care trebuie sa ii parcurgi prin Sahara, insa sunt sigur ca acest raliu isi va pastra renumele de cel mai dificil din lume indiferent de continentul pe care se va desfasura. In 2007, am participat in Chile la International Six Days Enduro si am avut astfel sansa sa vad cum este suprafata de rulare de acolo. Am concurat pe un sol foarte nisipos care nu era departe de cel pe care am mers in Maroc cu ocazia Dakar 2007. Nu stiu inca cum va fi in Argentina, insa sper sa am o evolutie buna in aceasta noua locatie a raliului. In aceata ultima zi era programata si inspectia tehnica pentru motocicleta pilotata de Mani Gyenes. Din pacate, chiar cand trebuia sa se mearga la verificarile administrative, organizatorii au oprit toata activitatea comunicand pilotilor ca in cateva ore urmeaza sa aiba loc un briefing in care se va comunica ce se va intampla cu editia din 2008. Astfel, toti cei implicati in Raliul Dakar au fost informati ca cea de a 30-a editie a raliului a fost anulata din motive de securitate.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pe 24 ianuarie, in Mauritania au fost omorati patru turisti francezi, incident revendicat de o filiala Al Qaeda. ( In editia 2008 Dakar-ul trebuiasa petreaca 7 zile in Mauritania, aproape jumatate din traseul acestei editii urma sa treaca prin aceasta tara).De atunci s-au purtat discutii cu autoritatile din Mauritania si cu Guvernul Francez, insa pe parcursul acestor dialoguri s-au primit amenintari teroriste la adresa raliului si pe 4 ianuarie ASO a decis sa anuleze editia 2008. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;Mani Gyenes ( locul 9 la categoria debutanti in editia din 2007): &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;“ Este foarte greu sa ma gandesc ca s-a anulat raliul. Astazi ,trebuia sa merg la verificarea tehnica si maine sa luam startul, iar acum incerc, impreuna cu echipa mea si cu cei care m-au sprijinit sa ajung pentru a doua oara la Dakar, sa vad ce putem salva pentru editia viitoare. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="IT"&gt;Respect decizia celor de la ASO pentru ca este foarte importanta siguranta noastra. Cand suntem singuri pe probele speciale din desert nu are cine sa ne protejeze si atunci am fi devenit victime sigure.
